About the Position

We are now looking for a summer employee who wants to work as an instrumentation technician. Here, you will be an important cog between process and operations, helping to ensure functionality and purification at one of Sweden's largest treatment plants, Kungsängsverket.

This is a perfect summer job for you who are curious about technology, can work independently but are also a good team player and want to gain a more detailed insight into how a water and sewage facility operates.

You will work at Kungsängsverket in Uppsala. The work is scheduled during the day, usually between 7 AM and 4 PM. As a summer employee, you will cover for our regular staff during the summer vacation weeks 24–33. We want you to work at least 8 weeks, and there may be an opportunity for a longer period. Please indicate your availability in your application.

Your tasks will be varied and include:

• Instrument handling, calibration, and cleaning
• Sampling of water and sludge
• Updating data in the maintenance system
• Other light practical and administrative work

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who:

• is meticulous and can follow instructions and checklists
• is responsible and enjoys both independent work and collaboration
• likes both practical and administrative tasks
• has good computer skills
• has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
• has a B driver's license
• has knowledge of the purification process at a treatment plant (meritorious)
